Robert Doisneau: From Paris to Palm Springs

Retrospective exhibition of Robert Doisneau's works. The images were selected by his daughters Francine Deroudille and Anette Doisneau from his enormous work, out of 450 000 negatives, made over 60 years between 1932 and 1984. Doisneau is often referred to as the 'poet of street photography'. His main source of inspiration was the citizens of Paris. His most famous photograph depicting a kissing couple, which was first published by Life in 1950, has become the iconic image of Paris.
