The Trafó Gallery has established contemporary art exhibitions since 1998. Almost 120 m2 exhibition space, it has become one of Budapest's most important medium-sized non-profit art institutions in recent decades. The main objective of the Trafó Gallery is to take Hungarian contemporary art and the middle-generation contemporary art to an international context, whether it is a thematic group or an independent exhibition. The Gallery is home to exhibitions by international artists and their programs have a strong regional focus. The gallery is also organising different performances.
